Named for not only it’s location, but also for the family’s Scottish heritage. The farm is 160 acres and was established in 1961.

We use old and new, innovative ideas for growing produce in poor soil in an arid climate. A windmill and gravity fed irrigation system is used in the orchards and garden. Various modern and antique machinery is used for cultivation and harvest. A burr mill is used to grind our wheat, rye and buckwheat for flour.

The land is a living, breathing creation entrusted to our care. Only natural minerals and compost are added to feed the soil. We use sustainable agricultural practices to produce our fruits, grains and vegetables.
